Harrison started soccer lessons a couple weeks ago and immediately engaged with everything the coaches asked (which doesn't happen easily with 14 three and a half year olds). With his family watching, I think he even turned on a little extra charm, really running and shouting out answers to questions, etc.
Seattle in the summer is beautiful so we made several trips to parks, including Gas Works Park at Grand Hart's request and took the opportunity to attempt to fly my kite for the first time in probably 8years. As we struggled again and again to get it into the air, ironically the owner of the long time local kite shop (where I bought my kite) was flying a kite with a local tv personality right behind us, shooting a story as she had decided to close down the business.
Auntie Chyna will attend Seattle University about the time Pooks arrives so the family spent some time at orientation and checking out the campus. Team Fein is very much looking forward to seeing her a little more often (Auntie you can baby sit anytime you want - hint, hint!). Mom, Auntie and PoPo also had our second annual girls night out and visited our favorite Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung followed by a visit to the bubble tea shop.
Before their flight home we watched Harrison at Little Gym and then took him to his favorite restaurant, Red Robin, for lunch. Although I was sad to see them leave, it was a great ending to a great visit from his family.
