Bath Time for Harrison!

Today Harrison had his first bath at home. I would like to say that we had planned this exciting moment however the event was spurred to fruition when our little man vomited his breakfast all over himself (don't worry, he's not ill). So what better time than the present to break open the bath tub box (literally) and get the ball rolling. At first blush he hated the event and wailed however once mom dunked a washcloth in warm water and placed it over his body he immediately quited down and began enjoying the experience. We couldn't help but think that it reminded him of being back in momma's tummy.

At about the 2 week old mark, we gave Harrison his first official sponge bath. Using a washcloth and a glass mixing bowl I use for baking, we cleaned the little dude to daddy's delight... he had been asking for a week when we could bath him... considering we shower daily dad just felt that baby should get his turn too. This session also included a good deal of wailing since we couldn't pour water over him to keep him warm. Winston looked on curiously from the hallway outside Harrison's bedroom.
