Thursday night much of our family, friends and even neighbors made the trek to Queen Anne through Seattle rush hour traffic for a chance to glimpse Aunt Rae Ann playing volleyball (WOU vs. SPU). Dad left work early so Team Fein could make a little evening out of it. We had dinner at Senor Moose cafe, a place Michael and Raina used to frequent but stopped during pregnancy and hadn't been back since... after my first bite I muttered, "oh moose, how I have missed thee!" Harrison was looking dapper in his "daddy shirt" which by his definition is any shirt that buttons up and (preferably) has stripes.
We had some time to kill after dinner so we played at a park on the north side of Queen Anne which overlooks downtown Seattle and Elliot Bay and then arrived at SPU just before the first serve. Harrison had just enough time to wiggle out of Zaidy's arms and whine for his mama.
Unfortunately the WOU Wolves lost all three games to SPU and Rae Rae was never put in the game; Harrison was really looking forward to watching Rae Rae play volleyball. But that's ok becuase when she finally came out of the locker room at 9:30, she chased him and a couple other little ones around the gym until he was sweaty, riled up and exhausted all at once. After she left to get on the team bus, Harrison was extremely concerned: "Where Rae Rae go?" and "I wannna see Rae Rae" and "[I want] Rae Rae [to] go to my home."

You may notice Patrick was in attendance... when he walked in dad said, "Harrison, who's that?" to which he replied "Bob." He dropped the "sponge" and went with the more formal Bob but we really need to work on saying "Patrick" instead. If you don't get the joke, go back a couple blog posts.
